GM Fundraising supports Final Moments Matter appeal

GM Fundraising has announced it will be supporting Hope House Children’s Hospices in achieving their most ambitious fundraising appeal: to raise £500,000 in just 36 hours to fund its total end of life and post bereavement care for 2022.

The Final Moments Matter campaign will be the charity’s biggest care fundraising appeal and takes place from 10am on Sunday 21st November until 10pm on Monday 22nd November 2021.

Gary Morton, founder of GM Fundraising, said: “We know the importance of Final Moments Matter and that the last moments of a child’s life should be as precious as their first. This is why Hope House’s mission to make sure that no one faces the death of a chile alone is so critical. By hitting the target, they will ensure that enough funds will have been raised to support the annual cost of providing the best end of life care for every child and their family.”

Hope House have already secured pledges for £250,000 of matched giving so every pound raised or donated during the 36-hour Final Moments Matter campaign will be doubled. However, to meet the £500,000 target a further £250,000 needs to be raised.

Participants can get involved by becoming a Team Leader and will be encouraged to reach out to all their family, friends and contacts to help raise as much money as possible.  Alternatively, people can donate direct at https://www.charityextra.com/finalmomentsmatter/gmf Gary said:” We know everyone in the industry is busy but this fundraising event is about reaching out to your network. Every pound raised will be doubled and we would ask our industry friends to help Hope House achieve this target by getting involved.”
