Golf Day 2009
After raising over £6,500 at the recent golf day at Telford Hotel and Golf Resort, GM Fundraising founder Gary Morton has once again applauded the window industry for its wonderful support.
"It never ceases to amaze me that, even in these more difficult times, the industry still manages to support the work we do at GM Fundraising". All 18 teams were snapped up immediately and the profit on this and monies from the auction and raffle made up a record total for the GMF golf day. Morton continued "It was, without question, our best golf day yet. The weather, course and facilities all came together wonderfully well. "Every single penny raised will go directly to Hope House Children's Hospices whose needs are greater than ever".
Winner on the day for the team event were Promac Group with a fine total of 93 points. Dekko Windows coming 2nd just 1 point behind.
The individual trophy was taken by Pat Brennan of Brennan Interiors with an incredible, if somewhat dubious, score of 47 points!
